Smuggler tour from Ischgl to Samnaun
In the Footsteps of the Smugglers
Where nylons, coffee, and tobacco used to be smuggled, skiing is now the main attraction: The route between Ischgl in the Paznaun Valley and the Swiss town of Samnaun in the Engadin is one of the highlights of the Silvretta Arena. Since the winter season 2016/2017, pure winter sports fun awaits you on the Smuggler's Circuit.
Smuggler's Circuit GOLD
- Length: 61.8 km
- Altitude difference: 13,740 m (including lift rides)
- Duration: approx. 4 h
Smuggler's Circuit SILVER
Slightly shorter, but just as much of a challenge: the Smuggler's Circuit Silver. Experienced skiers will enjoy the demanding route.
- Length: 41.4 km
- Altitude difference: 9,530 m (including lift rides)
- Duration: approx. 3.5 h
Dates and Facts
- Every Thursday.
- Meeting point: 9:15 a.m. at the ski school office on the Idalp.
- Cost: EUR 97.00 per person.
- Registration by email or phone by 4:00 p.m. the day before.
- Minimum of 4 participants.
- Depending on snow and weather conditions, the guide will decide on-site whether to take the Gold or Silver tour.
